Guided Oil Change
Take the guesswork out of one of the most common car maintenance tasks. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to perform an oil change step by step, with guidance and support throughout the process.
What You’ll Learn
- Understand the purpose of engine oil and why regular changes matter
- Identify the correct oil type and filter for your vehicle
- Safely drain old oil and replace it with new oil
- Remove and install an oil filter Follow proper safety procedures and disposal practices

Airframe & Powerplant
with Moses Daly
This is the enrollment page for Airframe and Powerplant students who have completed the FAA General pre-requisite program and are enrolling in the post-secondary program to begin Fall 2026. It is not open to the general public.
Students must make a deposit of $1000 in order to secure their seat for the fall and begin the SIDA badge process. Payment arrangements for the full tuition amount can be made by filling out the payment arrangement form; contact Cynthia Holt at cholt@bsdvt.org for more information.
Adult General Registration (Full Day)

The Burlington Technical Center Adult General Aviation Maintenance Program provides enrolled adult learners with the opportunity to complete the General portion of BTC’s FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance curriculum in a full-day format alongside BTC high school students. Students participate in classroom instruction and hands-on lab experiences focused on aircraft systems, aviation safety, maintenance procedures, FAA regulations, tool usage, and foundational aviation technical skills that prepare students for continued Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) training and aviation-related careers. Students follow the Burlington School District calendar and BTC high school daily schedule. Tuition for the full-day program is $7,000. This program is available only to students accepted into the BTC Adult Aviation pathway and is not open for general public registration.
Adult General Registration (Half Day)

Students follow the Burlington School District calendar and BTC high school daily schedule. The half-day afternoon session meets Monday–Friday from 12:00 PM–2:30 PM. Tuition for the half-day program is $3,500. This program is available only to students accepted into the BTC Adult Aviation pathway and is not open for general public registration.
