Emergency Roadside Skills for Beginners

Be prepared when it matters most. This hands-on class will give you the confidence and practical skills to safely handle common roadside situations, so you’re not stuck waiting or unsure what to do in an emergency.

• Safely change a flat tire and install a spare
• Use a jack and lug wrench correctly
• Understand basic roadside safety precautions Identify what to keep in your car for emergencies
• Know when to handle a situation yourself and when to call for help

Class Format: Hands-on, guided instruction with real tools and scenarios. You’ll practice essential skills in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

Instructor: This class is taught in partnership with Rowley Wrench, led by Allison Rowley, a Vermont-based mechanic and educator focused on making car care accessible and empowering for all learners.
