Learn how to handle some of the most common, and most manageable, car maintenance tasks on your own. In this hands-on class, you’ll build confidence replacing everyday components that affect your visibility, safety, and vehicle performance.
What You’ll Learn
- Replace cabin and engine air filters Install new wiper blades for clear visibility in all conditions
- Safely jumpstart a vehicle and understand battery basics
- Identify when a battery needs replacement and how to change it
- Replace common exterior bulbs (headlights, brake lights, turn signals)
Who: This class is perfect for beginners with little to no experience who want to gain practical, money-saving skills and feel more confident handling basic car maintenance.
Class Format: Hands-on, guided instruction with real vehicles and components. You’ll practice each skill in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
Instructor: This class is taught in partnership with Rowley Wrench, led by Allison Rowley, a Vermont-based mechanic and educator focused on making car care accessible and empowering for all learners.
